In the Crucible’s jewelry classes, you will learn the basic skills needed to work with precious metals, set stones, and create jewelry. Our instructors will also help you stretch your creative mind beyond the basics to transform your personal visions for your work into reality. Our jewelry classes teach a variety of technical skills that you can use to make your own wearable art in the form of jewelry—or you can apply to a variety of projects in metal—such as beautiful boxes, candlesticks, and sculptures. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced craftsperson, our jewelry program has a class that’s right for you.

We recommend you consider enrolling in the Jewelry Studio Access Lab while taking a Jewelry class. The lab lets you practice and perfect the skills you learn in class and work on your own projects, without spending a fortune to set up your own shop. Lab time is supervised, but does not include instruction or materials.
