This fundamentals class in flameworking will teach you the basics of transforming and manipulating glass over a bench-top torch. You’ll use an oxygen-propane torch to melt borosilicate glass to mold and shape it into beautiful glass marbles, sculptures, ornaments, and more! This class introduces you to the tools and equipment of glass flameworking and covers a variety of techniques including color pulling and application, sculpting, cane making, frit application and marble making.

Entry-Level Class. Sign up for this class at the same time as Continuing Techniques in Flameworking and recieve a $40 discount on the more advanced class.*Youth age 12 and up are welcome when registered with a parent or guardian.
