My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i would use [name_f]alana [/name_f] for… It’s between [name]elena [/name] and [name]alina [/name]. I love the name [name]alana[/name], but a good friend of mine named her daughter that, and i know it would cause problems if i did the same.

I am not terribly bothered by the similiarity, but would love some feedback. I need some naming advice!!! While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over [name]alana[/name] because i feel like it looks more complete, and also i have an aunt with “[name]ann[/name]” in her name and i feel like it’s a way to honor her somehow.
